SAIF is a leading Asian private equity firm based in Hong Kong. SAIF currently manages the SOFTBANK Asia Infrastructure Fund L.P. (the 'Fund'), a US$404 million limited partnership that was formed in early 2001 to make privately negotiated equity or equity-linked investments in information technology, media and telecom related companies based (or with significant operations) in the Asia Pacific region. SAIF focuses its efforts primarily on China, India, Korea, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Cisco Systems, Inc. is the sole limited partner of the Fund.
